Conducting a mini fair is an effective and enjoyable way to encourage students to learn English through real-life, interactive experiences. The main purpose is to allow students to use English in real-life situations. Students can role-play as sellers and customers. Teachers should guide them in preparing posters, labels and materials. And also, teachers can give some useful phrases, dialogues to practice before that.  I have conducted a mini fair for my grade 6 students. I have been working in a rural school. There were 50 students. First, I asked them to find various fruits and vegetables. I pasted a list of vegetable and fruit names. Then, I asked them to label them. Not only that, I gave some useful phrases like 'How much is this?', 'It is twenty rupees' etc. They have practiced it well. So, I conducted it with my fellow English teacher.
